Engler II

My name is Engler II. I’m a little awkward and don’t know exactly where I’m going with all this. However, I dropped the cash and am stuck with it because my wife would probably kill me if I don’t make this into an ongoing habit.

Talking to ya’ll, I mean.

I want to write a novel. I know, I’m so original. I’m currently in the word-vomit phase. Not sure if I care to share all that, but if not being vulnerable, how else could I be interesting? I also have an idea for a short story collection; these stories are easier to write and edit. I might be able to get one done a week, maybe every other week.

Personally, I want to finish my novel. It’s a fun idea I’ve had for maybe twelve years now, and I’m just now putting it into the world. I feel like the characters are coming around nicely. They have this charm to them. For example, Oscar, the main bad dude, was supposed to be this Darth Vader-level-phycopathic villan who wants nothing more than to destroy the world. But, writing him in prose and getting a feel of who he is, I’m starting to see just how understanding he can be to our protagonist. He isn’t all that villainous and might very well become the protagonist if I’m not careful. I really don’t want him to be because I want my story to focus on things that he could never understand.

The joy of being rich, I guess, is and always will be ignorance.
